By 2025, the Center will operate as an international think tank and a platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the training of talents for China and Russia.

The Center will integrate the educational, scientific and cultural resources of the BRICS and Belt and Road countries, as well as implement a number of research and applied projects to transform the results of scientific research in Russian and Chinese universities.

We develop the digital economy industry, create a cluster of companies and institutions for development of the digital economy, benefiting the BRICS countries and spreading around the world through the accumulation of intellectual property rights, standards, projects and other achievements
We train Russian and Chinese specialists in the field of scientific research and industrialization in the digital economy
We build an innovative platform within the framework of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of the digital economy, independent research and development
The Center is based in two countries with headquarters in Xiamen and a Russian branch in Moscow. Cooperation is focused on the coordination of technology transfer, talent training and project development

Xiamen is a sub-provincial city in Fujian province, the largest port on the coast of the Taiwan Strait. Xiamen is the main logistics hub of South China, making it more attractive for technology transfer
The project will provide 10,000 sq m of space in the Xiamen Software Park as office, research and experimental space for the Sino-Russian Research Center for the Digital Economy
At the end of 2021, Xiamen's total foreign trade reached 887.65 billion ¥
